Indications:

dermatophytes such as Trichophyton
yeast infections of the skin (e.g., Candida albicans).
treatment of pityriasis (tinea) versicolor due to
P. orbiculare (M. furfur).
Salient Points:
terbinafine cream application for 
1 week is as good as treatment
with miconazole cream
for 4 weeks for tinea pedis.
